Most people by this time have heard of Pilates created by Joseph
Pilates in 1927. This was not the case in 1991, when Jennifer Reich (studio
owner) first began teaching in the Now there are Pilates classes at most gyms, videos you can purchase by
mail and multiple studios that offer the equipment work. So why come to Center Strength? If this method is done correctly, the
results you can achieve in four to six weeks with sessions twice per week are
remarkable. How you do the work depends greatly on the knowledge and experience of
your teacher as well as their ability to communicate in a way that makes
learning Pilates fun, easy and highly effective. Center Strength is the The teachers at Center Strength are all fully certified, extremely
experienced and each very unique. Specializing in pregnancy, rehabilitation
and sports conditioning, they each bring their interests and experience to
the method. Everyone who works out on the equipment must do 10 private sessions,
(there are some exceptions if you have done Pilates before) then you can move
into semi-private (2 people) and group (4 people) classes where everyone
progresses together. In your private sessions, you will learn the basic
exercises and the fundamentals. You will do customized routines that your
teachers have developed with you, taking into consideration your personal
goals and special circumstances. You also will learn about your personal
movement patterns and how you can create balance, alignment and symmetry in
your body. |
